Spencer Jenkins graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate from The American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., where he graduated cum laude. He is licensed to practice law in California.
Mr. Jenkins began his career as a civil litigator in Washington D.C., specializing in antitrust and complex commercial litigation. He is the co-author of several published articles regarding class action litigation and federal civil procedure. He joined Beach Cowdrey Jenkins, LLP in 2011, where he primarily represents health care providers, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, residential care facilities, physicians, and nurses, against claims of medical malpractice, personal injury, elder abuse, and wrongful death.
Mr. Jenkins is highly proficient in Spanish. Prior to completing his B.A. at Brigham Young University, he served for two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lima, Peru.
Mr. Jenkins is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, and the Ventura County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all California state courts. Mr. Jenkins is actively involved in his church and local community organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America. He is also a member of the National Eagle Scouts Association. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, sailing, golfing, and fly fishing. He resides in Camarillo, California, with his wife and children.
