Jay L. Raftery, Jr.

Is an associate at Beach Cowdrey Jenkins, LLP.  Mr. Raftery brings to the firm a broad range of experience in both litigation and transactional matters.  In addition to being an experienced litigator, Jay describes himself as a regulatory attorney and brings to the firm a wealth of expertise in matters involving the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), the array of regulations comprising the world of Health Care Compliance (HIPAA, False Claims, Stark and Anti-Kickback laws) and the US Patent and Trademark Office.  Additionally, he has significant experience in defending public entities and private corporations in employment and medical malpractice lawsuits, as both in-house and outside counsel.  Since joining Beach Cowdrey Jenkins, LLP Mr. Raftery’s practice has been focused extensively on regulatory healthcare matters and related litigation.
