David L. Ditora is “Of Counsel” at Beach Cowdrey Jenkins, LLP. Mr. Ditora graduated from California State University Fresno, where he was student body president. He worked in the California State Assembly for three years prior to attending law school at the University of California, Davis, from which he graduated in 1985.
Mr. Ditora has extensive litigation experience in defending health care providers in elder abuse, medical malpractice, and employment disputes. His practice has focused almost exclusively on these areas for the past 10 years. Mr. Ditora also has extensive experience litigating insurance bad faith and coverage disputes, business disputes, toxic torts, and complex litigation matters. Mr. Ditora served as a lead counsel for the California Department of Insurance in Proposition 103 rate rollback cases, and has extensive experience in administrative and regulatory proceedings. He has tried numerous matters to jury verdict. Mr. Ditora has appeared before numerous appellate courts.
Mr. Ditora is admitted to all California state courts, the U.S. District Courts for Eastern and Northern Districts. Mr. Ditora served as an officer of the Sacramento Federal Bar Association, a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association Council, and Treasurer of Blood Source, a large blood bank in Sacramento. For 13 years, Mr. Ditora presented a Continuing Education of the Bar program on “Recent Developments in Civil Litigation.”
